The Flag Company, Inc., and its subsidiary today announced its patented series of Flagpole Beacons have been accepted by the International Dark Sky Association, (IDA) as official Dark Sky Friendly Devices. Timed to coincide as a key component in International Dark Sky Week festivities April 4 – April 10, 2016, Flagpole Beacons will play an integral part in Earth and Astronomy Day celebrations worldwide.

The Dark Sky-Friendly line of Flagpole Beacons available at consist of three products at a variety of price-points: The Dark Sky External Halyard Beacon; The Dark Sky Internal Halyard CAM System Beacon as well as the Dark Sky Internal Halyard Beacon with Dual Lights. According to Mr. Lawrence, “The proprietary Flagpole Beacon lighting technique is absolutely surgical.
