Building Intelligence Launches SV3® Kiosk Software in App Store
New York NY. (PRWEB) March 31, 2016 -- Building Intelligence Inc. announced today that SV3® Kiosk software has been approved in Apple’s App Store for Apple Mobile Products. Building Intelligence Inc. will be introducing the product at the International Security Conference ISC West (http://www.iscwest.com/) later next week at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, NV.
SV3® Kiosk will be shown integrated with the Software House CCURE 9000 access control solution at the Tyco Security Products Booth #20005. With SV3® Kiosk integrated with CCURE 9000, visitor records are processed and transmitted in real time from an iPad via WiFi. SV3 allows security officers to pre-register visitors, and track their entry and exit within a facility using a single user interface. The combined solution supports an efficient yet powerful access management tool for visitor self-registration.
The SV3® Kiosk is also utilized as a mobile solution for security personnel to manage visitors as they arrive. The SV3® Kiosk software connects to Building Intelligence’s cloud-based service and cross checks vital visitor information against federated “Watch Lists” and “VIP Lists.” Upon arrival, emails are sent notifying the host of their visitor's arrival. SV3® provides additional services including conference room scheduling and reservation.
For vehicle entry, the SV3® Kiosk software can be used to check license plates against the SV3® Vehicle product. By connecting a License Plate Reader to SV3® Vehicle, SV3® Kiosk will display vehicles in the queue ready to be processed for entry.
“Many of our clients have standardized their mobile solutions on iOS. Visitors are looking for a better experience,” says Building Intelligence’s CEO Jeffrey Friedman. "In combination with the SV3® Cloud Connector, SV3® Kiosk can be used to extend visitor management functionality to traditional server-based physical access control systems. SV3® brings some of the unique advantages of cloud-based computing to some of the distinct advantages of server-based physical access control. SV3® Kiosk will reduce security staffing requirements and eliminate long lines of visitors.”
Each SV3® Kiosk can be configured with different requirements. Customized welcome screens and corporate logos can be added, and the signing of an agreement and/or configured process can be selected for a particular facility.
Upon visitor arrival, the SV3® Kiosk guides the visitor through a simple check-in process, whether they are preregistered or a “non-registered” walk-in. The visitor scans either their QR code received in an invitation email when they were preregistered or scans their driver’s license. An immediate email notification is sent to the host informing of their visitor's arrival.
The SV3® Kiosk app can be experienced in Booth #20005, at the Tyco Security Products booth at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, April 6 – 8, 2016.
