Representatives from Honkamp Krueger & Co., P.C. will be presenters at the Comfort Keepers Performance Management Group Spring Summit in San Francisco, April 20-21, 2016. The working sessions will help franchise owners identify solutions for the challenges they face with tax and accounting situations as well as human capital management.

It's good to have an objective, third party look at your financials.

Kevin Schmitt, partner at Honkamp Krueger & Co., P.C. (HK), and Lori Stewart, director of human resources consulting at HKP, will be speaking at the Comfort Keepers Performance Management Group (PMG) Spring Summit in San Francisco, April 20-21, 2016.

Schmitt’s presentation, “Uncovering Substantial Tax Savings for Comfort Keepers Franchise Owners,” will provide franchise owners with an insight into what the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes Act (PATH Act) of 2015 means for their business’ bottom line, their personal financial situation, and what state and federal programs they should consider to limit their tax liability.

Stewart’s presentation “The Six Most Common and Costly Human Resource Errors Comfort Keepers Owners Make” will identify many of the human capital management challenges franchise owners face on a daily basis, and what they may be overlooking.

After the sessions, Comfort Keepers owners will have the opportunity to request a complimentary HK TaxGap Review and/or an HR-Gap Review, in which HK will review an owner’s current tax and/or human resource compliance situation and provide an initial analysis.

HK partners with many in-home health care franchises, and is familiar with the franchise model for tax, accounting and workforce management. "The HK TaxGap Review/Analysis that Ryan and his team conducted for me was very useful. Their insights were right on target and were helpful for may tax situation," said Mathew Fink, franchise owner Comfort Keepers. "It is always good to have an objective third party look at your financials. I'm glad I had HK conduct the review."
