High Point House Doctors Business Recognized with National Award

For his efforts, House Doctors is proud to announce that Cranford has been recognized with the 2015 Brand Ambassador Award.

Cranford said that while the recognition is great, his efforts are really aimed at creating a strong business for his family and building a better brand to help every franchise owner across the country.
“I definitely appreciate the recognition, but I do what I do because I really think, the more success House Doctors has across the globe, the better business will be for each individual franchisee. Ultimately House Doctors is a brand we all bought into and we all need to work together to make it stronger,” Cranford said.
Cranford opened House Doctors of High Point almost 14 years ago. In college he had worked with family member who did roof to basement house work and got into building houses for a while until the early 80s, when the housing market took a turn. He spent most of his career after that in construction management.
“I always wanted to get back into this, but I had a young family and the timing just wasn’t right. When I launched House Doctors 13-and-a-half years ago, it was because I was ready to raise the standard of service in the industry. Whether it’s 1970 or 2016, people need the service we provide, but the challenge is finding someone who is professional and trustworthy who can do quality work. That’s where House Doctors comes in,” Cranford said.

“From day one I’ve always said I wanted to be different. My philosophy is that I’m looking for a customer, not a job. We do a lot of repeat business – in fact I have some people who called me that first year who still call me when they need something done – and that says something. You have to provide an excellent customer experience to keep people coming back,” Cranford said.
