Vasont Systems Verifies Compatibility between the Vasont® Component Content Management System and XMetaL® Author Enterprise 11.0
Emigsville, PA (PRWEB) April 04, 2016 -- Vasont Systems, a top component content management system (CCMS) software provider, validated the latest release of XMetaL® Author Enterprise XML Editor with their Vasont Universal Integrator (VUI) extension. The VUI Extension allows users to access digital content assets and workflow tasks from the Vasont CCMS while writing and editing XML content in XMetaL 11.0. This integration provides a streamlined updating and editing process for writers and editors.
The Vasont CCMS’ VUI extension integrates with XMetaL 11.0 to create a fluid editorial process for writers and editors. XML content can be created and edited in XMetaL and then stored in the Vasont CCMS. The VUI allows writers to access reusable content, audit trails, workflow tasks, and processing for translation and publishing from the XMetaL interface, without having to toggle to the Vasont CCMS. The VUI joins these two exceptional tools to provide a continuous editorial process for organizations to manage critical business assets.
JustSystems, the developer of XMetaL, announced that version 11.0 of XMetaL Author Enterprise contains an extensive new set of features and official support of DITA 1.3. The official support of DITA 1.3 includes templates for new topic and map types, support for new domains, and XSD support in addition to DTD support. There is also a new DITA Map Editor that comes with a variety of improved features such as various undo/redo levels, enhanced tree display, and 10X faster loading. This version also supports the latest DITA open toolkit v.2.2.1. XMetaL 11.0 allows even non-technical users to create reusable content for consistency in publications and minimal development costs.
