TRACT® Platform Spring ’16 Release Includes Robust Business Insight Tools, Dynamic Price Advisor and Extensibility Enhancements
AUSTIN, Texas (PRWEB) April 04, 2016 -- goTransverse, the award-winning leader in innovative monetization solutions, today announced the addition of business intelligence and reporting tools, dynamic pricing simulations and additional API capabilities and connectors. Other improvements included enhanced user interface personalization abilities and improved tax integrations.
Robust Business Insight Tools
The standard business insight tools in TRACT have been enhanced with additional business intelligence and analytics tools featuring Pentaho’s unified data integration platform. Called Visionary in the 2016 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms, the market-leading Pentaho, recently purchased by Hitachi Data Systems (HDS), is the foundation for the robust business insight tools in TRACT.
“By utilizing one of the most robust business intelligence reporting platforms available, TRACT clients benefit from the most insightful and powerful data analysis tools we can give them, while our developers are free to focus on what they do best: solving complex billing problems,” says Michael Beamer, president of goTransverse. “Intuitive user-defined reporting, tailored to your needs, is one of the many ways we enable companies to transform their data into meaningful information and actionable insights.”
Dynamic Price Advisor
The new dynamic price advisor in TRACT enables organizations to simulate usage rating and prevent bill shock by providing dynamic monetization functionality. TRACT can calculate any combination of fixed-price, subscription and usage rating amounts and provide pricing dynamically based on authorizations, thresholds, authority, and more before actually billing the customer. With this new functionality, users of TRACT are gaining previously unavailable visibility into client charges, ensuring an even more accurate and speedy billing process.
Enhanced API Additions and Connectors
Enhancements to the powerful integration connections in TRACT now extend the ability to access the platform directly through the application programming interface (API). The latest version of the API in TRACT includes the ability to provision products, as well as create or update products and details including prices, categories and tags. TRACT users also now have greater control over creating credit and other service adjustments, even at the service level, directly through the API. User-defined fields have also been enhanced in the TRACT API with robust functionality to maintain data accuracy in pick list fields. Additional API enhancements include expanded management of product relationships, price lists and marketplaces to ensure incredibly granular control.
“The robust API of TRACT is one of the key reasons the platform maintains its market-leading extensibility and ability to function harmoniously as a powerful adjunct billing platform,” says Paul Tindall, chief technical officer of goTransverse. “Having an open, functional API—and continuing to add to its functionality—allows goTransverse to be platform-agnostic and help organizations with a variety of legacy systems bring innovative usage-based, subscription, or value-added OTT and IoT offerings to market before their competition.”
Other Enhancements
The TRACT Spring ‘16 release contains other updates and enhancements including more detailed support for Avalara tax integrations, additional abilities to personalize the user interface as well as other usability and display improvements.
