A seasoned executive with many years experience in finance and operational roles, Thompson brings with him an extensive background in corporate finance, treasury, financial planning and analysis, tax, strategic planning and risk management along with a significant experience in operating roles and mergers and acquisitions.

Most recently, Thompson held several senior executive positions at Cardtronics, a leading provider of fully integrated ATM and financial kiosk products and services, including: Executive Vice President of Global Accounts, Managing Director of UK Operations, Executive Vice President of ATM Services and Chief Accounting Officer. He also previously served as Chief Financial Officer at Sternhill Partners, a Houston-based venture capital firm.
In these roles, he has managed financial operations, an IPO and significant merger and acquisition negotiation and contract efforts. He has also served as interim-CEO of a financial services business located in the UK with 300 employees and more than $125 million in revenues.

Thompson’s experience spans multiple industries including financial services, enterprise software and technology, energy, and private equity and venture capital.
