The National Safety Council Partners With Filament Games To Create Vehicle Safety Game
Madison, WI (PRWEB) April 04, 2016 -- MyCarDoesWhat.org, a new initiative of The National Safety Council and the University of Iowa, has partnered with Filament Games to create a consumer-facing learning game focused on vehicle safety. The game, called Dashboard Blitz, is now available for free on the iOS App Store and Google Play Store, and is designed to educate drivers over the age of 18 on a variety of modern vehicle safety systems.
Filament Games was selected by MyCarDoesWhat.org through an RFP process. Over the course of their 10 year history, Filament has developed learning games for all ages, from K-12 to adult learners. Through this partnership, Filament Games expands their reach and deepens their commitment to adult focused game-based learning.
Dan White, Co-founder and CEO, said, “We’re very excited to partner with the leading authority on safety to create this game. This partnership is a great opportunity to continue our expansion into adult game-based learning.”
“It was a pleasure to work with Filament Games to release a groundbreaking new way to educate consumers on vehicle safety,” said Alex Epstein, senior director for digital strategy and content at the National Safety Council. “It is our hope that this fun game encourages drivers to learn about new vehicle safety features so everyone on the road can stay safer.”
