Spa Services and CoolSculpting®: St. Louis’ West County Plastic Surgeons Expands in April
St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) April 05, 2016 -- The West County Plastic Surgeons team has a lot to be excited about this spring, as a recent move doubled their office space, giving them more room to offer patients minimally and noninvasive treatments in a relaxing, spa-like setting. The addition of a new aesthetician further advanced their expansion, and the April introduction of a second machine for CoolSculpting® gives St. Louis residents even more opportunities to slim down—while spending less time on the procedure.
Patient satisfaction is the main driving force behind the recent changes at West County Plastic Surgeons. Patients have long been satisfied in choosing the practice for their cosmetic surgical needs, including facelifts, tummy tucks, and breast augmentation, but board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Terry Myckatyn cited growing patient interest in CoolSculpting® and other nonsurgical aesthetic treatments—such as Cellfina® for cellulite, BOTOX® for wrinkles, and laser hair removal or skin tightening—as a prompt for the move to new facilities and other features debuting this season.
Convenience is key. Two CoolSculpting® devices, for instance, make a treatment known as DualSculpting possible. While procedure times vary, a single abdomen-focused session typically takes around an hour. A pair of CoolSculpting® machines can work on one patient at the same time, cutting the treatment time in half. Patients can also choose to receive CoolSculpting® on two different areas simultaneously, ultimately getting more results for less of a time investment.
CoolSculpting® works via a process known as cryoliposis, which cools fat cells down to destroy them. The temperature is too high to damage surrounding tissues, but low enough to crystallize the fat, which is then processed and eliminated safely from the body. A single treatment yields a roughly 20 percent reduction in fat in the area, whether that’s a belly or a double chin.
Results in the regions affected by CoolSculpting® develop over a period of weeks, so anyone considering the treatment for a slimmer summer shape should start soon so changes have time to become visibly noticeable. Even with DualSculpting in place, patients may need multiple sessions to achieve their ideal fat-reduction results.
The results can be further enhanced by other treatments that tighten skin and even out skin tone and texture.
The new West County Plastic Surgeons address is 1020 N. Mason Road, Suite 110, St. Louis, MO 63141.
