I joined Amada to offer those services that I feel are the most important and most needed. We will take care of the individual as well as the family.

Amada Senior Care, premier provider of non-medical in-home care and assisted living placement counseling, recently opened its first office in Indiana – its Indianapolis location. Amada franchise partner Michelle Pfeiffer came to the senior care industry with over 16 years of experience in corporate wellness. The grand opening will take place on Wednesday, April 6th.

According to Michelle, Amada Indianapolis works to provide quality care that fits the needs of each senior. “Our in-home caregivers assist seniors with everyday activities of living,” she said. “If you need help getting dressed, preparing a meal, or need someone to take you to a doctor’s appointment, we can help.” If a senior is no longer able to “age in place” at home, Michelle said the team at Amada Indianapolis also offers advisory services on assisted living and skilled nursing community options. “Our goal is to help seniors find the best care options available for them,” she said.

In addition to finding care options, Amada Indianapolis also helps families navigate the options for funding care, Michelle said. “We know many seniors and their families worry about how to pay for care,” she said. “That’s why we offer our expertise in areas like long-term care insurance, life insurance policies, and veterans’ benefits to help you fund the care you need.”

Michelle said she knows the importance of a helping hand when it comes to caregiving. “I learned those experiences firsthand when my son was hit by a drunk driver and paralyzed,” she said. “I desperately needed help taking care of my family, my son, and myself.” When her mother was diagnosed with cancer, Michelle researched and discovered her various home care options. “Unfortunately those services were not to the quality I thought they should have been,” she said. “I joined Amada to offer those services that I feel are the most important and most needed. We will take care of the individual as well as the family.”

The grand opening of Amada Senior Care Indianapolis will be held on Wednesday, April 6th. The office is currently looking for qualified full and part-time caregivers to work with their clients. For more information, you can visit the website at or call 317-218-4169.
