Developing Road Transport Policies with Fuel Card Services
(PRWEB UK) 6 April 2016 -- An event is being hosted by Camden Council and will run all afternoon on April 6th, from 13:15 to 17:00 BST.
Entitled Developing Road Transport Policies, dedicated account manager for FORS members at Fuel Card Services Rachel Pearson will be in attendance and offering a wealth of insights into the importance of road transport policy for all UK fleet operators.
Major topics that are set to be covered in the coming workshop will include:
• How effective road transport policy can help to reduce fuel usage
• Policy in relation to anti-idling
• Driver training
• Fuel-efficient driver techniques
• Changing/updating vehicles used
• Best practice in operation and how to record fuel usage
Moreover, the session will cover how Fuel Card Services can help with duty of care, deliver savings, areas of finance and tax services, management of the grey fleet, and provide key insight into our products Cost Count and Service Count.
Overall, Ms Pearson will be on hand to direct all attendees through the process of developing essential and effective road transport policy for them, while at the same time offering guidance on how to create their own written documents.
Guests are advised that registration begins from 13:00 and the venue can be found next to Kings Cross/St Pancras Station, with access either from the main entrance on Pancras Square or from King's Boulevard.
