Vizrt Renews Contract with Motion Analysis Corporation: CamTrak Demonstration at NAB 2016
Santa Rosa, CA (PRWEB) April 07, 2016 -- Motion Analysis Corporation (MAC) and Vizrt recently updated their ongoing partnership. This partnership first began in 2011 with the installation of a Motion Analysis camera tracking system (CamTrak) and Vizrt’s Viz Virtual Studio solution at CNN in the USA.
Since 2011 Motion Analysis and Vizrt have formed over a dozen successful joint customers from many countries worldwide including the United Kingdom, Norway, Qatar, Russia, Pakistan, India and the United States.
These studios are a combination of virtual sets, augmented reality or a mixture of both. The majority use the system in a live environment, broadcasting shows to live audiences across the world.
In addition to live camera tracking, customers are also implementing object tracking in the live virtual environments. This feature provides the presenter with the ability to interact with graphics or virtual objects.
With just one continuously calibrating system, a variety of cameras can be tracked (studio, jib and steady-cam), virtual characters can be produced, and tracking can be done outdoors as well as indoors.
“This Vizrt / MAC solution provides a cost-effective, intuitive way for broadcasters to track multiple studio cameras and align each camera view with the 3D graphical scene so that proper perspective is always maintained regardless of how cameras are moved or switched during the live program,” said Tom Whitaker, Chairman and CEO for Motion Analysis Corporation.
“We have had a solid partnership with Motion Analysis, working together to develop a tool that is specifically suited for the broadcast industry,” said Gerhard Lang, Vizrt Chief Engineering Officer. “Their native integration with Viz Virtual Studio’s Tracking Hub and MAC’s innovative solution to eliminate tracking errors has enabled a very unique system in terms of stability and easy day to day use.”
Motion Analysis will be demonstrating their CamTrak system at NAB 2016 in Las Vegas, April 18-21 in the Vizrt booth (SL2417) and the Motion Analysis booth (SL7624).
