ShipStation, the leading web-based e-commerce shipping solution, today announced its integration with Stripe and its Relay product, an API for online retailers that improves the order checkout process in third-party mobile apps. Once a retailer integrates with Relay, the product makes it easier for consumers to make purchases from their mobile phones and social media.

While mobile devices represent 60% of browsing traffic, they only account for 15% of online purchasing, according to Stripe. Further, while the average shopping cart abandonment rate falls around 68%, for mobile it is a whopping 97%. 

Relay’s in-app Buy Buttons fixes mobile commerce issues around poor design and slow loading pages with an instant purchase experience for consumers. With Relay, online sellers can quickly add their products and start selling on a growing number of mobile apps.
