“We are pleased to introduce this new expansion of our SensorInsight IIoT platform addressing the pressing need for efficient, real-time environmental air quality and control reporting,” said Joey Bernal, Co-founder and President of SensorInsight.

SensorInsight, an Internet of Things (IoT) software provider, in conjunction with their partner Libelium, a sensor solutions hardware provider, announced today the release of the SensorInsight Air Quality Index Kit. The kit combines state-of-the-art Libelium sensors and hardware with SensorInsight Foundation software and data integration services to provide a complete IoT solution. Municipal governments, as well as business owners, can benefit from reduced costs in operating, maintaining and reporting on required air quality data with this new service.

The SensorInsight AQI Kit can present data analytics as a full-feature display with U.S. EPA Air Quality calculations. This provides the ability to see in real-time how the sensor readings compare with generally acceptable environmental standards. Sensor monitoring and reporting information can be maintained privately or provided for public display of station data and results.

“We are pleased to introduce this new expansion of our SensorInsight IIoT platform addressing the pressing need for efficient, real-time environmental air quality and control reporting,” said Joey Bernal, Co-founder and President of SensorInsight.

The AQI kit includes custom or pre-configured sensor solutions that can measure the presence of an assortment of pollutants to ensure compliance with both the Clean Air Act, the EPA’s National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) and sustainable building standards. Sensors are available pre-configured to measure carbon dioxide, methane, carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, ground-level ozone presence, sulfur dioxide, particle matter, temperature, humidity, air pressure and luminosity.

Large monitoring networks can be prohibitively expensive to build, on top of being difficult to understand. On-site sensor installation and data integration and transformation assistance is included at no extra cost when with the purchase of a SensorInsight AQI kit. Their team of experienced consultants and technical experts are committed to helping clients build the comprehensive IoT solution that is right for their business (and budget!) They can provide out-of-the-box data integration and visualization blueprints, or they can customize their solutions to work within your existing infrastructure.

“After years of successfully monitoring customer environments with our data analytics software, we are excited to be working with our partners, Libelium, to offer our clients a comprehensive Internet of Things solution” Bernal said. SensorInsight adds this AQI vertical to an already strong list of vertical solutions based on the SensorInsight Foundation software platform.
