Austin-Based Tech Company Creating a Revolutionary Lock for Outdoor Enthusiasts

If tampered with, goLock VENTURE™ will emit a 90-decibel tone immediately. At the same time, the owner receives messages via their smartphone that their equipment or gear is potentially being stolen.
The lock will communicate with smartphones within a 300-yard radius via Bluetooth, but more importantly it will also work via cell signal so the owner can be a distance away and still be in contact with their gear. With the goLock app (free from Android or iOS) users can arm or disarm the lock and share access with friends. The app will also show battery life and signal strength.
