Office Sign Company opens a second location with 16,000 sq ft of production space in North Fargo

Office Sign Company is adding on 16,000 ft² in production space as they open their second location this week. The sign company that has occupied a major space in the interior office sign industry is opening up a new production facility in the industrial park area of North Fargo this Friday, effectively expanding their production capabilities to encompass new signage offerings. Between their two facilities, [OSC] will now have nearly 28,000 ft² of space for their 30+ employees, as well as their expansive manufacturing equipment.

“It’s an exciting move for us,” said Production Manager Jamey Bauman. “The new production facility gives us room to grow and expand our capabilities.” One of those new capabilities is large format printing, which will allow Office Sign Company to produce full color yard signs, political signs, prints on wood and metal, etc. that are up to 4’ x 8’ in size, and can be printed in fine-art quality. Their new production facility will also include a drive-in vehicle wrap center where cars, vans, and trucks can have vinyl graphics installed by a certified team of 3M installers.

“It’s going to be a big year for us,” Marketing Coordinator Jack Yakowicz stated. “The second location opens up a lot of new capabilities, but also will help us immensely as we aim to expand our brands moving forward.” Office Sign Company, who has already excelled in offering unique products such as ADA-compliant braille signs, engraved door signs, and more also has plans to open up a wholesale sign website later this year. “The additional 16,000 square feet of space will grant us an opportunity to store more inventory as we prepare to set up the wholesale side of operations yet in 2016,” said Yakowicz.

Eight short years ago, Office Sign Company was operated out of CEO Ryan Fritz’s basement in South Fargo. The small sign-making business has made massive strides over the past handful of years to assert its place in the industry, including winning the Fargo Chamber of Commerce’s Award for “Small Business of the Year” in 2015. Adding on a second facility is just one more sign of success for this Fargo-based company.
