Our new HyperEngine better equips network and security analysis tools to identify root causes faster and increases monitoring efficiency, reliability and accuracy.
Wilsonville, OR (PRWEB) April 07, 2016
APCON, a provider of intelligent network monitoring solutions, announced today its new IntellaFlex HyperEngine packet processor designed to support up to 200Gbps throughput. The HyperEngine’s deduplication feature increases monitoring efficiency and recordable network time, and provides greater visibility while reducing the traffic load on the monitoring tools.
“As an IT team’s success is measured against customer satisfaction and business results, a high-performance monitoring solution is important to quickly remediate network and security issues,” said Richard Rauch, president and CEO of APCON. “Our new HyperEngine better equips network and security analysis tools to identify root causes faster and increases monitoring efficiency, reliability and accuracy."
Duplicate packets in large-scale data center networks can greatly increase the amount of traffic a network monitoring tool receives and can potentially overload it. A key feature of APCON’s HyperEngine is its ability to eliminate duplicate packets from multiple traffic streams entering an IntellaFlex XR system at high speeds with a large match window size of up to 500ms.
The HyperEngine has 16 internal service port connections available to process traffic through the backplane to and from other aggregation and filtering blades in an APCON IntellaFlex XR network monitoring system. Users can choose and configure traffic optimization features and applications to run on each service port and link services together.
When combined with APCON’s TitanXR centralized management software, users have access to dashboards for analysis of deduplicated traffic and can monitor and receive alerts for hardware and application issues. Users can also automatically forward these alerts to the APCON Mobile App for remote monitoring.
APCON’s HyperEngine is immediately available for purchase. APCON is developing additional advanced applications for the HyperEngine, which will be announced in Q2, 2016.
