CardNotPresent.com Announces Keynote Speakers for 2016 CNP Expo
NEWBURYPORT, Mass. (PRWEB) April 07, 2016 -- CardNotPresent.com today announced three keynote speakers for their 2016 CNP Expo, an annual conference focused on the card-not-present space. This year’s event will feature presentations from: Sarah Arvin, senior vice president and chief product and marketing officer at Worldpay US; Dan Price, founder and CEO of Gravity Payments; and Arvind Ronta, global head of emerging products at Discover Network.
The expo will take place May 23-26 at Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando. CNP Expo will address the challenges of the security, e-commerce, software, mobile, retail and payments industries as card-not-present payments become increasingly omnichannel and international.
Dan Price of Gravity Payments is scheduled to speak on Tuesday, May 24 at 8:30 a.m. about bringing transparency to the payments industry in his keynote address titled, “Doing What’s Right in a World with So Much Wrong.” Price established Gravity Payments in his dorm room at age 19 and now 12 years later serves more than 13,000 businesses across the country. Price’s entrepreneurship and leadership were recognized nationally when he was named Entrepreneur Magazine’s “Entrepreneur of 2014.”
Arvind Ronta, global head of emerging products at Discover Network, will also present his keynote address titled, “Making E-Commerce Smart and Secure,” on Tuesday, May 24 following Price. Ronta will present on how merchants are leveraging new ways to enable consumer choice, engagement and spending while tackling the toughest fraud and security challenges the industry has seen to date. At Discover, Ronta is focused on creating the next generation of loyalty, data and consumer authentication products. He has been acknowledged for his breadth of consulting and experience in the digital payments industry.
Sarah Arvin, senior vice president and chief product and marketing officer at Worldpay US is scheduled to speak on Wednesday, March 25 at 8:30 a.m. Her presentation, titled “Anticipating the Digital Payments Frontier,” will discuss how the future of digital payments, which is increasingly mobile and card-not-present, is being driven by consumers and impacting merchants. Arvin’s team is responsible for developing and delivering omni-channel payment solutions.

In addition to the three keynote speakers, the 2016 CNP Expo will feature presentations from other industry thought leaders including: Richard Barbieri, risk operations manager at Etsy; Travis Jarae, global compliance operations manager at Google; John Jasan, product manager of global e-commerce at Staples; Troy Leach, chief technology officer at PCI Security Standards Council; and Pradeep Vallanur Ramesh, vice president, data science and analytics at American Express.
