ITCS-WebClock Announces Automation for Long Term Care Facilities - Payroll Based Journal (PBJ) Reporting Feature
Debary, Florida (PRWEB) April 12, 2016 -- ITCS-WebClock is pleased to announce its solution for the mandatory Payroll-Based Journal (PBJ) reporting requirement as addressed in Section 6106 of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
ITCS-WebClock creates the PBJ file that reports hours meeting the quarterly reporting requirements. ITCS-WebClock addresses the Section 6106 of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) that requires long term care facilities to electronically submit direct care staffing information (including agency and contract staff) based on payroll and other audit data. This data, when combined with census information, can then be used to not only report on the level of staff in each nursing home, but also to report on employee turnover and tenure, which can impact the quality of care delivered. Mandatory reporting is scheduled to start on July 1, 2016.
“ITCS is ready to enable long term care facilities to comply with this mandatory requirement in an accurate and efficient manner. We have developed a product that greatly reduces the effort and time needed for facilities to record and comply with this requirement and allow them to meet the July 1, 2016 deadline,” said Bill Flanagan, President of ITCS.
