Vein Visualization Leader Grows Business Unit Following FDA's Injection Safety Alert

AccuVein For Aesthetic Procedures

Jeff joins AccuVein at a time when locating veins for cosmetic procedures is more important than ever.

AccuVein Inc. (http://www.accuvein.com), the global leader in vein visualization, AccuVein Inc., today announced that Jeff Snider has been named National Sales Manager in charge of their Vascular and Aesthetics business. Jeff formerly served as National Sales Manager for Circadian and Labtron Scientific Corp.

AccuVein’s flagship product, the AV400, helps healthcare professionals locate veins by displaying a map of the patient’s vasculature directly on the surface of the skin. For vascular and aesthetics clinicians, locating peripheral vasculature is invaluable for accessing veins for sclerotherapy procedures and avoiding veins in cosmetic procedures.

“We are thrilled to have Jeff Snider working with us to help accelerate our growth in the Vascular and Aesthetics business. Jeff’s experience leading large medical sales teams will be an invaluable asset and underscores our commitment to this key market”, said Mike Munzer, V.P. of Channel Management at AccuVein.

Jeff joins the AccuVein team at a time when locating veins for cosmetic procedures is more important than ever as the FDA recently issued a safety alert warning that serious injuries may occur due to unintentional injection of soft tissue filler into blood vessels in the face. There are approximately two million soft filler procedures performed annually in the U.S.
