Birdiepic Launches Indiegogo Campaign for Aerial Photography Action Cam Accessory
Montevideo, Uruguay (PRWEB) April 13, 2016 -- Today Birdiepic launched an Indiegogo campaign to raise $15,000 over 45 days for its flagship product – an aerodynamic case for GoPros called Birdie. It is now available on Indiegogo for as low as $35 USD.
Existing solutions for aerial photography include complicated-to-operate drones and pricey throwable cams. Birdiepic has come up with a new take on photography from the sky.
“We wanted to create something that would allow photographers to explore new points of view in an affordable and simple way,” said Alejandro, Co-Founder of Birdiepic.
The user just inserts their camera and tosses Birdie into the air. The camera takes continuous photos on the way up to max altitude, and on the way back down.
Among other distinguishing features, Birdie is:
- Durable – Birdie is specifically engineered to protect cameras from damage as it floats back to the ground.
- Affordable – There’s no need to purchase new, expensive equipment. Birdie uses the camera that you already have and rings up at under $50.
- Fun – Taking photos with Birdie is like a game of catch. The resulting photos are candid, and capture authentic in-the-moment expressions.
- Versatile - Birdie floats and can be easily disassembled for portability.
Co-Founder Ianai said, “Simply put, Birdie makes the act of taking pictures and video fun.”
“Say goodbye to holding your smile forever, waiting for someone to press the right button. The time of too-posed-pictures has come to an end,” said Germán, Co-Founder.
Birdiepic’s Indiegogo campaign runs from April 12 until May 27, 2016. For a full rundown of the pledge levels visit their Indiegogo Page.
