FileHold Software Announces the Release of FileHold 15 and the New “Courier” Feature

There is no way to know if the documents ever arrived or if attachments were even opened by a recipient. Emails are relayed through multiple public servers before they reach their destination and people are constantly receiving phishing and malware emails that look legitimate. With Courier, recipients are secure in knowing they are accessing legitimate, purposeful documents. A reporting feature in FileHold monitors all transactions and reports when / if the document has been viewed or approved. If the recipient does not view or approve the document by a specified time they can be sent a reminder. When they do view or approve the document, the task is recorded in the FileHold log.
FileHold Courier notifies recipients by email to view a document but does not provide it as an insecure attachment. Instead, Courier transmission recipients actually view the document in a portal that they log into using a secure password. A SSL certificate ensures the recipient’s browser will indicate they are connected to a secure source much like they see when connecting with their bank.”
