Symmetry Electronics and Partners Averlogic, Silicon Labs, Silvertel and Telit Wireless Solutions Exhibiting at ESC Boston 2016
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) April 12, 2016 -- Symmetry Electronics, a global distributor specializing in the distribution of wireless and video embedded semiconductor products, will be showcasing the latest products with exhibiting partners Averlogic, Silicon Labs, Silvertel and Telit Wireless Solutions at the 2016 Embedded Systems Conference (ESC), being held April 13-14, 2016 at the Boston Convention and Events Center. The Symmetry booth (#970) will feature product demonstrations from each exhibiting partner and high level executives and factory technical experts from each company will be on hand to discuss customer projects and the many ways Symmetry can support your designs.
The Embedded Systems Conference (ESC) is the industry's largest and most comprehensive embedded technology conference in the United States. In sessions led by engineers developing next-generation products and top experts in the field, attendees gain insight into how engineers are working through the inherent challenges of systems design, acquire new skills and strategies for optimizing embedded designs, and get a handle on the future of the industry. ESC is currently in Boston, Silicon Valley, and Minneapolis and in Boston this year is taking place simultaneously with 'Design and Manufacturing', 'BIOMEDevice' and 'PLASTEC Showcase' events.
Symmetry will be showing exciting new offerings from Averlogic, Silicon Labs, Silvertel, and Telit in booth #970 at ESC Boston 2016.
At ESC Boston Averlogic is planning a giveaway of two sets of AL582C-CMOS-DMB-A2 demo boards. The AL582C-CMOS-DMB-A2 demo board demonstrates AL582C Wi-Fi video streaming ability with CMOS sensor and HDMI display. AverLogic Technologies is a fabless semiconductor company with headquarters in Taipei, Taiwan. Specialized in high-performance application specific memory and video processing circuits, AverLogic utilizes advanced CMOS technology and its own mixed signal design expertise to bring to market a full range of feature rich solutions. Current products include a wide array of video frame and line buffers, format converters and highly integrated video processors. More recently the company has added video decoders and an MPEG4 encoder to its line up of video solutions.
Visit Silicon Labs at Embedded Systems Conference to experience several demos. Thunderboard Wear, a fun and powerful reference design with all of the functionality you need to develop advanced wearables and connected IoT-nodes. It is based on ARM® mbed™ and features the Silicon Labs' EFM32™ Giant Gecko along with Bluetooth Smart connectivity and a myriad of sensors including ambient light sensing and proximity and optical heart rate monitoring. Check out the Silicon Labs Mesh-networked lighted balls bringing together a legacy of lower power MCUs, low power wireless technologies and supporting all mesh networking standards (ZigBee®, Thread, Bluetooth® and Proprietary) to provide customers with embedded solutions for the IoT. In this demo, the lighted balls are networked using a proprietary wireless protocol on Silicon Labs’ Thunderboard Sense with Silicon Labs' EFM32™ Mighty Gecko and EFM8™ Mighty Gecko and EFM8™ for I/O expansion. Try out Thunderboard React, a cloud-connected, Bluetooth-enabled, sensor-driven platform in the form of a Pinewood Derby Car to see how Silicon Labs’ MCUs, wireless ICs and RF sensors can used to capture data from other manufacturers’ sensors and send collected data to the cloud. With Silicon Labs' Blue Gecko BGM111 Bluetooth® Smart Module and a variety of sensors – a 6-axis gyro/accelerometer, hall-effect, temperature/humidity and light (ambient and UV), the Thunderboard React offers you a way to demo, evaluate and develop unique applications.
Silicon Labs is the leader in energy-friendly solutions for a smarter, more connected world. For nearly 20 years, Silicon Labs has created the silicon, software and tools that enable the world’s leading engineers to develop products that transform industries and improve lives. From MCUs, wireless SoCs and sensors for the IoT to advanced timing and power management chips for Internet infrastructure and industrial automation, Silicon Labs’ solutions provide customers with significant advantages in performance, energy efficiency, connectivity and design simplicity.
Silvertel specializes in the design and supply of low cost electronic modules to an extensive global customer base that includes blue chip names such as Samsung and Panasonic. Silvertel POE, Telecoms, Battery charger and Wireless Power module products are sold to thousands of customers globally and backed up by renowned first class technical and application support. Silvertel has pioneered many innovations in POE to include such landmarks as the smallest SMT and POE+ modules in the world, as well as the highest power POE modules available. All modules are optimized to provide minimized footprints and package size. Ease of use with minimal external components required is an additional key Silvertel advantage. At ESC Silvertel will demo modules: Ag320 (15W wireless power module used to charge hand held diagnostic devices and lighting), Ag201 (low voltage LED driver - 1 module for 12-57V supply o/p 300mA to 1A and DALI - LED Lighting fixtures -competitors offer 12V or 24V 10W, 20W and 30W options while Sivlertel's solution is all-in-one), Ag5510 (smaller 60W PoE solution), Ag103 (solar power battery charger) and a Raspberry PI powered by PoE wireless power Dali LED lighting demo.
Telit’s products and services are about connecting things anywhere to the Cloud, apps and enterprise systems seamlessly and easily; reducing time-to-market and risk while enhancing technical and business performance of the overall solution. Telit enables IoT solutions, which starts with the IoT Module. The module is an electronic component that you design into the electronics of your device to give it the ability send and receive data over cellular networks as well as other non-cellular technologies such as ZigBee and Sigfox. Once your devices have the hardware to connect to cellular networks, they require a series of services from provisioning onto the mobile network to managing subscriptions and rate plans to collecting, moving, storing, and integrating their data through the Cloud and into apps and systems they are part of. Telit’s unique approach delivers versatile rate plans from Telit IoT Connectivity and a comprehensive set of services from a single platform we call the Telit IoT Portal. Stop by the Symmetry booth to learn more about these three fundamental building blocks from Telit.
