New Senior Lifestyle Organization Launches in Nashville – Introducing Vitality Senior Living
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) June 01, 2016 -- Vitality Senior Living, a new Nashville-based senior living provider, offers an innovative technology-focused approach to senior living that empowers seniors to age successfully. Offering independent living, assisted living and memory care, the company plans to expand its service offerings as it grows. Vitality is currently seeking acquisition and development opportunities in the eastern two-thirds of the U.S.
Senior housing veteran Chris Guay is Vitality Senior Living’s President and CEO. With more than 18 years of operations, management and leadership experience in the Senior Living Industry, his broad background was achieved through leadership roles starting at the community level through senior executive positions with the industry’s largest providers,
Emeritus and Brookdale Senior Living. Most recently, Guay served as Brookdale’s Northeast Division President where he was responsible for the oversight of 275 communities across 18 states, serving over 21,000 seniors and families daily.
Elliott Westerman joins Guay in this new venture as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Finance. Westerman comes to Vitality from Holiday Retirement where he was Vice President of Asset Management. He also functioned in a variety of roles at Emeritus Senior Living and was its primary underwriter for the Nurse On Call and Sunwest Acquisitions.
Vitality Senior Living is a portfolio company of West Partners, LLC. Vitality expands West Partners’ senior housing presence across the U.S. to parallel its successful senior housing company, West Living, LLC, which operates in the western third of the country. West Partners makes direct investments in private companies with a long-term investment horizon. The ultimate goal of West Partners is to fund the West Family’s philanthropic legacy in perpetuity.
West Partners is part of the West Family, which includes the Gary and Mary West Foundation, West Health Institute and its affiliated entities. Funded by Gary and Mary West, the West Health Institute is dedicated to supporting and creating healthcare delivery models that enable seniors to successfully age on their own terms, preserving and protecting their dignity, quality of life and independence.
“Our partnership with West brings unique perspective to the organization,” says Guay. “Our communities will feature nurturing and engaging environments and will offer the latest from a wellness, care, design, service and amenity perspective. Perhaps our most defining difference, however, will be the shared dedication to ensuring successful aging and the philanthropic spirit that will emanate throughout our communities.”
“West Partners looks to partner with proven managers to build successful businesses,” says Marc Harper, member of West Partners and Board Member of Vitality Senior Living. “Chris Guay is a pioneer in the senior living industry who shares our vision of creating a company that engages residents, families and associates in successful aging.”
