EMEX, LLC Expands Executive Team, Names Kevin McAlpin as Vice President & General Counsel

McAlpin will have oversight of supplier & customer contract negotiations, licensing and regulatory responsibilities, and all aspects of EMEX’s legal requirements. McAlpin’s executive-level experience will assist EMEX in continuing to grow as a leader in commercial & government energy supply consultancy throughout the energy-deregulated regions of the United States.

Prior to EMEX, McAlpin served as Senior Attorney for the law firm of Walker Eisenbraun LLC, where he specialized in corporate law and commercial transactions, and served as lead counsel and negotiator for several clients in a variety of industries. McAlpin has also worked in executive and legal counsel roles for Just Energy, Smith & Carson, and ExxonMobil. Mr. McAlpin is a 1991 graduate of The Citadel and holds an MBA from the University of Mississippi and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from The University of Houston Law Center. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the American Corporate Counsel Association.
