2016 Mensa Mind Games® Winners Announced

63 board games compete for Mensa Select® status at the annual Mensa Mind Games competition

2016 winners receive the Mensa Select seal in recognition of their fun, clever and creative games.

We are happy to be able to provide valuable feedback to all of the competing manufacturers.

Following 42 hours of nonstop board game action the 2016 Mensa Select winners are:

  •     "New York 1901," Blue Orange Games
  •     "Circular Reasoning," Breaking Games
  •     "World’s Fair 1893," Renegade Game Studios    
  •     "Favor of the Pharaoh," Bezier Games, Inc.
  •     "The Last Spike," Columbia Games

“Our judges have the great pleasure of reviewing some of the best new tabletop games out there,” said Chief Judge Greg Webster. “We are happy to be able to provide valuable feedback to all of the competing manufacturers.” Next year’s event will be hosted by the Metropolitan Washington Mensa chapter. Mensa Mind Games is an annual tabletop games competition open to games that are new to market within the last two years. Entries for 2017 consideration will have achieved national distribution between June 1, 2015 and June 1, 2017. Entries for the 2017 Mind Games will start being accepted in late fall of 2016.

American Mensa is an organization open to anyone who scores in the top 2 percent on an accepted, standardized intelligence test.
