The Gluten-Free Certification Program Continues Expansion to Australia and New Zealand

Currently, the GFCP is the leading science-based certification program for brand owners and their manufacturers wishing to make a safe and reliable gluten-free product claim.
To support this growth, ACG President Paul Valder travelled to Australia in February to welcome BSI as a newly trained and approved third-party auditing and certification company. BSI will help aid the program's goal to expand in the Asia-Pacific marketplace and grow the number of gluten-free brands permitted to display the GFCP trademarks on their company's gluten-free product packaging.

In addition to gaining membership with the Allergen Bureau and Australian Food and Grocery Council’s Allergen Forum, while in Australia, ACG also had the opportunity to onboard two new GFCP Authorized Training & Services Providers.
