Kitewheel Partners with Bentley University’s Center for Marketing Technology to Expand Digital Marketing Education
Boston, MA (PRWEB) April 15, 2016 -- Kitewheel, provider of the leading Customer Journey Hub for agencies and their brand clients, today announced a partnership with Bentley’s Center for Marketing Technology (CMT) to bring customer journey education to the classroom.
With an ever-growing number of customer touch points, effective omni-channel marketing has become a top priority for marketers. Success in this new marketing domain requires the intelligent orchestration of customer journeys to create a seamless experience and build loyalty.
Kitewheel is leading the market when it comes to successful customer journey deployments – typically tripling conversion rates for clients in as little as 4 weeks. This deep expertise has enabled the company to build an extensive library of customer journeys, which clients, and now Bentley students can use to rapidly jumpstart customer journey projects.
“Our goal is to engage students with industry best practices, teaching them to innovate and produce successful marketing programs when they enter the workforce,” said Ian Cross, professor of marketing and director of the Center for Marketing Technology. “We’re thrilled that marketing technology leader Kitewheel has partnered with us for this program, they provide our students with a unique opportunity to utilize the same cutting edge concepts that are currently being deployed by some of the most innovative brands and agencies in the world.“
Through the CMT’s Corporate Immersion Program Kitewheel consultants are embedded in the class teaching with the professor and students during the spring semester. The course, which is also supported by SharkNinja, a world leader in home appliances, allows business students to apply best practice marketing tools and techniques to a real world project for the Shark vacuum product line. Specifically, students learned how to create a Shark brand advocacy program through the design and implementation of customer journeys creating a seamless customer experience – a highly valuable skill for today’s marketers.
“While most marketers today view improving customer experience as pivotal to their business success – the reality is that many don’t know how to get started orchestrating customer journeys,” said Mark Smith, president, Kitewheel. “We are so pleased to work with the innovative team at Bentley to provide students with exposure to leading edge concepts to help prepare them for the realities they’ll face as tomorrow’s marketing professionals.”
