Boating isn’t like driving a car, and many boaters – both new and experienced – are uncertain about how to boat safely. The Spring Aboard campaign is our big, unified effort to get all boaters educated now, prior to or during spring break.

Between April 17-23, 2016, BOATERexam.com will discount the cost of its leading online boating safety education course by 50% as part of the national Spring Aboard campaign. The campaign encourages boaters to take a safety course before the start of boating season.
“We are proud to support the Spring Aboard campaign,” said Kerry Moher, Vice President of Fresh Air Educators, makers of BOATERexam.com. “We hope that many boaters will take advantage of this great incentive and take their boating safety course before the start of the summer boating season.”
The Spring Aboard campaign, which was launched last year by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA), is the first national campaign specifically to support enrollment in boating education.
“We know from many years of experience that an educated boater is safer, and boating is a lot more fun if you aren’t confused or worried the whole trip,” said NASBLA President Col. Darren Rider. “Boating isn’t like driving a car, and many boaters – both new and experienced – are uncertain about how to boat safely. The Spring Aboard campaign is our big, unified effort to get all boaters educated now, prior to or during spring break. Take a little time now so you are ready when that warm weather starts.”
Recent U.S. Coast Guard statistics indicate that, where the level of boating education was known, 80% of boating deaths occurred on boats where the boat operator had never received boating education instruction.
“Taking a boating course like BOATERexam.com reduces the chance of a serious accident or fatality on the water. But it’s also fun,” said Moher. “BOATERexam.com is full of animated content and fun quizzes that bring the boating experience to life to help create safer and more confident boaters. There’s no better time to take the course.”
BOATERexam.com will reduce the cost of its NASBLA-approved online boating course and its online sailing course by a boat load for all customers who sign up between April 17th and 23rd, 2016. Students have until April 30th to complete the course after signing up and only pay after passing the course.
