ABC-TV "Shark Tank" Winner Hamboards Grabs More Airtime on "Beyond the Tank," Tues., April 19, 2016, 10 p.m./9c
Huntington Beach, Calif. (PRWEB) April 18, 2016 -- Southern California entrepreneurial and renowned surf family, the Hamborgs, who specialize in creating handcrafted longboard skateboards, street stand-up paddle boards and land paddles called Hamboards, will be featured on ABC's Beyond the Tank on April 19, 2016, at 10 p.m./9c.
Hamboards bring the true feel of surfing to land, and developed a worldwide cult with thousands of fans around the world posting their own videos. This landed Pete Hamborg, Gus Hamborg and east coast cousin Don Sandusky on ABC's Shark Tank in October 2013 at which time Robert Herjavec made a deal to pay $300,000 for 30% of the company.
Since then, Hamboards secured a competitive mass production supply chain, developed new distribution relationships in the U.S., Europe and Asia, and experienced significant annual revenue growth.
The Beyond the Tank segment includes “shark” investor Robert Herjavec meeting with Hamboards in Huntington Beach to discuss different areas of the company to see what they can grow and improve, and also goes behind the scenes where Pete talks about what it really takes to handcraft the world’s best longboards.

“Hamboards has significant product placements in several current television shows and in a new feature film starring Bruce Willis. Subaru purchased co-branded Hamboards to help it sell its popular Outback model and it’s being used in school programs as well.”
