Labeled an "Outdoor Living Lumberyard", this will be TimberTown's newest location. "It's been a dream of mine to open TimberTown's in major cities across America," says TimberTown founder and partner, Steve Anthony.
Ten years ago, the first TimberTown opened up shop in Leander, TX with a tiny office building, a dirt lot, and a couple of individuals with a love and knowledge of outdoor living spaces. Now, with the help of its partners Trey Henderson and Overseas Hardwoods Company, TimberTown Austin is one of the largest hardwood decking suppliers in Central Texas. TimberTown's website is also known for its wealth of articles and resources.
As TimberTown Austin has continued to grow, Steve Anthony and OHC looked for the next market they could expand to. "Atlanta was always at the top of the list," states Anthony, who cites the city's suburban growth, warm climate, and topography as key factors. TimberTown focuses on decking, tropical hardwoods, and specialty lumber and accessories and offers expertise and products that aren't found at big box stores or local lumber yards.
Located in Marietta, TimberTown Atlanta is right off I-75 and will offer pick up or delivery to most of the Atlanta Metro area. Some of the products this location will carry include: major composite decking brands Trex, TimberTech, Azek, and Fiberon; tropical hardwoods like Ipe, Tigerwood, Cumaru, and Garapa; Treated Yellow Pine, Western Red Cedar, Beams, and Treated Framing Lumber; Railing Brands Feeney and Fortress; raw or prefinished Siding and Soffit products; and a huge assortment of outdoor living accessories like lighting, hardware, and tools. "We stock what the other guys have to special order," says Tim Watson, General Manager at TimberTown Atlanta.
The Atlanta facility carries its lumber and outdoor living products in stock and ready to deliver inside their warehouse where its kept clean and out of the harsh elements. The Atlanta store will also boast the largest indoor showroom and decking display in the south! TimberTown Atlanta officially opens on April 18th, 2016 with a Grand Opening on June 3rd, 2016. The Grand Opening will include a huge barbecue, vendor showcases, giveaways, and more.
