Power Systems Products Featured on NBC Show STRONG

NBC’s new competition reality show “STRONG” premiered Wednesday, April 13, launching the 10-episode series in which elite trainers are paired with female contestants to help them get in shape and overcome the personal obstacles in their lives.

On Thursday night’s episode, the Power Systems Elite Power Medicine Ball was featured during the Power Challenge. In the challenge, the female contestants had to run up a ramp and drop the medicine ball into a chute. They then had to run back down and catch the ball as it came rolling out of the chute. If they did not catch the medicine ball, the rep count started over. The contestant with the highest number of catches won the challenge. The contest was a great test of lower body strength, speed, and hand-eye coordination.
Along with the Elite Power Medicine Ball, Power Systems also supplied equipment such as their Adjustable Lateral Plyo, Power Training Ropes, plyo boxes, strength bands, slam balls, weighted vests, and mats.
