On behalf of Pop Surrealist painter Camilla d’Errico (http://www.camilladerrico.com/), we are excited to announce the details of her upcoming solo gallery show later this week. The eagerly anticipated “Dances With Dreams” exhibition will run April 23rd – May 21st, 2016 at the Corey Helford Gallery in Los Angeles, California.

Widely recognized for her captivating yet playful style, Camilla will debut a new and exclusive collection of up to 30 original oil paintings and framed ink drawings for exhibition and sale. An opening reception for “Dances With Dreams” will be hosted at Corey Helford Gallery 7-10pm on the Saturday April 23rd, and a special fan-dedicated signing event with Camilla has been confirmed for Sunday April 24th 2-4pm.

Speaking about her latest exhibition at Corey Helford Gallery, Camilla commented: “With my ‘Dances with Dreams’ showing, I wanted to invite audiences to explore the hauntingly beautiful states of the subconscious mind - while awake and in dream. The feeling as though they were walking through a colorful and serene dreamscape when pondering whether the girl in each portraiture is dreaming or whether she is the viewer's dream.” The collection looks to further develop the surrealist themes of her signature doe-eyed females and their companions.

Based in Vancouver, BC, Camilla is an Italo-Canadian artist best known for making waves in the fine art and comic book industries with her surrealist yet mainstream pop paint style that feature manga inspired wide-eyed girls and melting rainbows. Ever the prolific artist and best-selling author, Camilla has recently expanded her art style into fashion accessories and also released “Pop Painting” - a book that explores her influences and techniques with the hope of encouraging the next generation of future artists.

Camilla d’Errico’s “Dances With Dreams” exhibition will run from April 23rd – May 21st, 2016 at the Corey Helford Gallery: 571 S Anderson St, Los Angeles, CA 90033. Please visit http://www.coreyhelfordgallery.com/
