The 322 page book reveals the research and actual use with antibiotic-resistant bacteria ("super bugs"), how and why essential oils work, fascinating history and why they are lesser known in the U.S. among medical circles.

"I've been passionate about essential oils for a long-time," says author Kathy Heshelow, who lived in Paris for 16 years. "France is considered the modern-era birthplace of aromatherapy, with so many eminent doctors and researchers in the field. It's time more in the U.S. understand what the subject is all about."

The book is intended for both the uninitiated as well as those who know but want to learn more about the natural plant-based powers of essential oils.

The book will be available on Kindle in several weeks.
