AgilePoint Positioned as a Strong Performer for Low-Code Development Platforms by Independent Research Firm
Mountain View, CA (PRWEB) April 20, 2016 -- AgilePoint, a long-time leader in the BPM space, has been positioned as a strong performer in The Forrester Wave™: Low-Code Development Platforms, Q2 2016. The new report, which was published on April 14th, 2016, includes fourteen vendors from four of the five low-code platform segments identified by Forrester as general-purpose platforms, process app platforms, database app platforms, request-handling platforms, and mobile-first app platforms (not included in this evaluation). AgilePoint NX , a process-focused, low-code application Platform as a Service, can be consumed as a multi-tenant, public- or private- cloud offering, which is hosted and managed by AgilePoint in Amazon and Windows Azure.
According to Forrester Research report, "AgilePoint's greatest strength is its intuitive application development environment, which is easy to navigate and provides comprehensive declarative tooling that makes it easy for novice or expert developers to build new apps." The report goes on to state that AgilePoint also provides a “strong portfolio of configurable connectors and adaptors to access common systems of record, such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, and SAP.”
“We’re delighted to be recognized by Forrester Research,” commented Jesse Shiah, AgilePoint CEO. “We see AgilePoint NX as a ground-breaking technology, a view which is being reinforced by market customers. But it’s especially gratifying to be recognized for what we consider to be our innovation and effort by one of the leading independent research firms.”
The Wave report also gave AgilePoint NX the highest score possible for its partner ecosystem, and the second highest score (tied) for number of customers.
