MVP Interactive Launches Virtual Reality Division To Continue Enhancing Game Experience for Sports Fans
(PRWEB) April 20, 2016 -- MVP Interactive, a consumer engagement software and technology company, has launched a new division focused exclusively on generating Virtual Reality content that can be used by sports team to provide enhanced fan experiences at ballparks, stadiums and arenas. MVP has successfully designed and executed Virtual Reality based campaigns for the Washington Redskins, AT&T Stadium and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and now seeks to extend availability of its VR capabilities to additional teams and leagues.
“As we have seen through our recent work with the Redskins and others, Virtual Reality is an exciting technology that can help to enhance the fan’s overall experience at the game, giving them a reason to show up early and spend more time at the venue,” said James Giglio, CEO of MVP Interactive. “Professional and college teams continue to explore ways to make the in-venue experience more interactive, memorable and fulfilling. And brands can use these experiences to connect with audiences in a more meaningful way. With our growing portfolio of clients and virtual realty engagements, we have the experience and are well suited to bring VR to more stadiums and arenas across the country.”
MVP’s recent VR work includes a Game Day experience where fans of the Washington Redskins could get a first person account of what it is like to be a player on the day of the game. Featured prominently in the Bud Light Social Lounge, fans who engaged were equipped with an Oculus Rift headset affixed to a team helmet and experienced what it was like to exit the team bus, sign autographs and enter the stadium and locker room to suit up. MVP has also developed VR content to create stadium tours for the San Francisco Giants and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Using both real world and 3D architectural renderings, the VR tours were used by the teams to drive season subscriptions.
MVP’s Virtual Reality Division is led by Gavin Renwick, Director of Design, and will have the ability to film, produce and develop live and 3D generated content. For a video demonstration of MVP’s technology in action inside the Redskins Social Lounge, please click here.
