Impressive momentum from new products and partnerships sets the stage for more than 300 percent network growth in 2016

Following a strong year comprised of several major product launches, strategic partnerships and big-name client wins, Shotfarm is poised for its most profitable year in 2016. The cloud-based product content management and exchange solution attributes recent and projected growth to its unique content distribution approach and affordable, centralized platform.

The projections are concurrent with strong 2016 Q1 results, as Shotfarm has seen a 25 percent increase overall in company sign up rate, with the platform now hosting approximately 435,000 products. Shotfarm experienced a 106 percent increase in manufacturer signups compared to Q1 of 2015.

The total number of Shotfarm members now sits at more than 6,000 brands, more than any other content exchange platform on the market. At its current rate of growth, Shotfarm is projected to experience 306 percent network growth by the end of 2016, reaching approximately 30,500 companies on the platform. The company expects to increase the number of brands more than fourfold and the number of retailers by nearly three times this year.

This momentum is a result of a series of product launches released by Shotfarm in the last year, including a new Dashboard and the introduction of the Switch Marketplace, the company’s largest initiative to date. An online network where manufacturers can automatically upload, convert, and distribute product information tailored to retail trading partners’ unique specifications, the Switch Marketplace has revolutionized the way manufacturers and retailers exchange data. The Marketplace is currently being used by some of the country’s largest retailers, including Walmart, Amazon, and Kroger.

“Next generation data collection and distribution networks such as Shotfarm are delivering incredible value to today’s thriving eCommerce industry,” said Mike Lapchick, CEO of Shotfarm. “Our continual dedication to enhancing our products and services has set us up for an explosive year and we are thrilled to see what’s in store. We’ve started off strong, especially in on-boarding brands to our platform, and expect to hit our growth targets easily.”
