NewGround Breaks Ground on New Headquarters for Hickam FCU
CHESTERFIELD, Mo. (PRWEB) April 19, 2016 -- NewGround announced today that they have broken ground on Hickam Federal Credit Union’s new 32,000 square foot headquarters building.
The new operations center will be located on 3.2 acres of land at 1260 Kuala Street in Pearl City, Hawaii. Citing space and access constraints with their current location on the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, the Hickam FCU leadership team made the decision to move off-base in order to better serve the community.
Hickam FCU purchased a 6.7 acre site in October 2014 with the intention of selling off the extra acreage.
The new two-story headquarters building will sit on the corner of Kuala and Kaakepa streets giving the Credit Union high visibility in a well-trafficked area and the ability to accommodate their projected growth. Also included in the design is a full-service, technology-forward branch and a proposed 20,000 square foot addition, if future growth necessitates.
NewGround is projecting to complete the project in mid-2017.
