Just Shrimp warns Exotic Food Eaters to be on the Look Out!

Since opening a little over a year and a half ago, Just Shrimp has added multiple items to its menu. Its newest addition to their sandwich selection includes a Gator Po’ Boy. The alligator is lightly breaded and deep-fried to perfection. Just as other Po’ Boys on the menu, the Gator Po’ Boy is served on toasted French bread and dressed with lettuce, tomato, and Po’ Boy sauce. The sandwich is served as a meal with French fries and homemade coleslaw for $12.99.

Customers can enjoy a wide variety of seafood that is wild-caught and made to order. The restaurant aims to provide fresh, high quality food at a reasonable price point. Just Shrimp serves only the freshest seafood — shrimp, catfish and other wild-caught products arrive daily — coated in a light, crispy batter and served with a generous amount of fries and coleslaw.

Although most menu items are fried, Just Shrimp also offers a few non-fried options for those looking for something different. The customer favorites, lobster roll and shrimp roll sandwiches are amongst the non-fried menu items. The lobster roll is made the traditional New England way, with whole Maine boiled lobster, mayonnaise, chopped celery, lemon juice, and house seasoning. It is served cold on a lightly toasted and buttered New England roll. The shrimp roll is made by boiling shrimp and then mixing it with a homemade lime tarragon mayonnaise sauce, also served on a lightly toasted, buttered New England roll.

While whole lobsters are boiled daily to prepare the customer favorite lobster roll, a perfect base for soup is also created. By simply adding a touch of heavy cream and light tomato, an unforgettable bisque is created that perfectly complements any meal.

Just Shrimp has found a unique niche, which has allowed them to expand rapidly. With the opening of their third location in Ford City Mall’s Food Court, Just Shrimp has become a seafood lovers nirvana.

With a variety of dipping sauces, customers have the ability to customize their order by adding their personal sauce preference. Amongst the seven mouthwatering sauces offered, customer favorite is Just Shrimp’s signature homemade spicy sauce. Other sauces include traditional cocktail, buffalo, mild, tartar, BBQ, and hot.

Shrimp packs as well as other meals are served with a generous side of fries and fresh coleslaw. Customers who wish to skip the fries have the option of upgrading to another side for an additional $1.20. These substitutions include fried zucchini, mushrooms, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and okra. Most meals on the menu can also be purchased as a sandwich, served on a toasted French roll, with lettuce, tomato, and a perfectly paired sauce.

Whether looking for a quick bite to eat, or an entire seafood dining experience, Just Shrimp can accommodate you. With quick service, reasonable prices, and a small dining area Just Shrimp fills the void of the forgotten local shrimp house.
