Flats East Bank Dueling Piano Bar Partners with Cleveland Charity
(PRWEB) April 22, 2016 -- April is Autism Awareness Month, and The Big Bang Dueling Piano Bar is joining the cause, hosting Keys for Kids, a fundraiser benefitting the Achievement Centers for Children. The event will be held on Friday April 29th at The Big Bang in the Flats East Bank.
The event begins at 5pm with grilling on the patio, happy hour appetizer and drink specials inside, and a live auction highlighting Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Cavaliers signed memorabilia. The event will continue into the night with a silent auction and live Dueling Pianos starting at 7pm. Local sports and media celebrities are expected to make appearances throughout the evening to support the cause.
The Big Bang was grateful to partner with the Achievement Centers for Children after learning that the family of one of The Big Bang’s employees has personally benefitted from the services provided by the organization.
“Giving back to the community is an important part of our company philosophy,” says General Manager Craig Emhardt. “It’s especially meaningful when we can support a local cause that has personally touched the life of someone on our staff.”
The Achievement Centers for Children is a private, nonprofit organization whose mission is to enable and empower children with disabilities and their families to grow, learn, play and prepare for lifelong achievement in society. It provides comprehensive high-quality, cost-effective services and programs in the areas of therapy, family support, education, autism services, recreation and adapted sports. The Achievement Centers for Children provides professional, compassionate care for children, teens and adults, and their families at facilities in Highland Hills, Westlake and Camp Cheerful in Strongsville, Ohio.
Table reservations for the event are available for purchase online at Eventbrite.com. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP online, and will have the option of making a donation prior to the event. The Big Bang will donate all proceeds from the table reservation sales, live and silent auctions, patio grill sales, select drink sales and cover charge before 8pm to the Achievement Centers for Children. It will also be matching donations collected at the door between 5-8pm.
The Big Bang has been open for eight months in the new Flats East Bank development, at 1163 Front Avenue. The bar is known for its high-energy Dueling Piano entertainment Tuesday-Saturday, and also features a modern bar food menu, large patio and happy hour specials from 5-7pm.
“We are excited to be hosting another charity fundraiser at The Big Bang Cleveland, and look forward to partnering with other great Cleveland organizations in the future,” says Emhardt.
