Mammoth Lakes, CA (PRWEB) April 21, 2016 -- Celebrating its milestone of 21 years, the Mammoth Festival of Beers and Bluesapalooza in Mammoth Lakes, California is gearing up for its annual summer party with two days of craft beer tasting, two music stages, a new party zone for VIPs and its most diverse musical lineup yet, August 4th-7th, outdoors among the pines at Sam’s Wood Site with California’s Eastern High Sierra as the backdrop.
More than 20 bands will perform among two stages, the Bluesapalooza Main stage and the Minaret Acoustic stage. The Beyond Blues Thursday Night (5:45-9:30pm) kicks off with Michael Franti & Spearhead with special guest Zella Day. Friday Night Rock ‘N Blues (3:00pm-10:00pm) features headlining performances from Allen Stone, Beth Hart, Zac Harmon and The Stone Foxes. Festivalgoers can unwind, kick back and relax on Soulful Sunday (11:00am-5:30pm) with Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Curtis Salgado, Roy Rogers & The Delta Rhythm Kings, and the New Breed Brass Band.
“We’re 21 years old and ready to party,” says Sean Turner of Mammoth Brewing Company “We’ve really topped it off this year adding a second day of craft beer tasting, a cigar bar and spirits tasting, live stage video monitors, and giving our VIPs a bunch of great benefits. And, I can’t wait to hear this year’s incredible lineup, including Michael Franti kicking it all off. It just keeps getting better.”
And better this year is not one, but two days of beer tasting, both Saturday (12 pm-5:00pm) and Sunday (12pm-4:00pm), featuring over 100 of the top craft breweries in the country, such as Mammoth Brewing Company, Santa Cruz Mountain, Fireman’s Brew, Bear Republic, Anderson Valley, Stone, Green Flash, Firestone Walker, San Diego, Sierra Nevada, BarrelHouse and many more. The festival benefits the California Craft Brewers Association as well as many local nonprofit organizations. Along with the beer and blues, plenty of tasty food from some of Mammoth’s best restaurants will be served in the Blues Food Court satisfying the heartiest of appetites. And for those that prefer grapes over hops, returning winery J. Lohr will offer their signature wines.
Also new at this year’s festival are more benefits for VIP ticket holders, including a Thursday Night Eastern Sierra specialty beer tasting and vendor dinner; special VIP bar lines with complimentary drinks and distilled spirits tastings; a cigar bar; a Lair of the Bear lounge access with special amenities; VIP porta-potties, and more.
