Padcaster Launches Kickstarter Campaign to Finalize Development of Padcaster VERSE
NEW YORK, NY (PRWEB) April 20, 2016 -- Padcaster is in the final stage of development for the Padcaster VERSE, a new multi-media case built to fit any smartphone or small tablet. A thirty-day Kickstarter campaign to raise $25,000 has been launched to fund the final development of the Padcaster VERSE and will run through Thursday, May 19. Campaign backers will be the first to receive a VERSE with a pledge as low as $50 (limited to first 100).

“We are thrilled with the results of our Padcaster VERSE prototype, and we look forward to completing a successful Kickstarter campaign to finalize development and make it available to everyone,” says Josh Apter, Founder and CEO of Padcaster.
The Padcaster VERSE is a rugged polycarbonate case that shares the same core design elements as the original flagship Padcaster product line. The Padcaster VERSE includes twelve ¼-20 threads and five integrated cold shoe slots around its frame to provide a total of seventeen easy, stable mounting points for media accessories including lights, microphones, teleprompters and more. The center of the case houses a universal bracket that is compatible with any phone or tablet – Apple or Android – up to 5.31 inches in width, the size of an iPad mini. A media kit including images of the Padcaster VERSE may be viewed and downloaded here.
Created to transform an iPad into an all-in-one mobile production studio, Padcaster’s unique design adds stabilization, as well as audio and optical upgrades that enable iPad users to shoot, edit, stream and share professional quality video content. This patented design is now being successfully translated to the new Padcaster VERSE, to fit any phone or small tablet.
“The question we get more than any other is ‘when are you making a case for the iPhone?’ We wanted to go a step further and build a case that not only fits any iPhone model, but all video-capable smartphones, and small tablets too,” continues Apter. “The Padcaster VERSE works with any phone of any make and is built to adapt to a device's upgrades and improvements over the years.”
The Padcaster VERSE Kickstarter campaign will run through Thursday, May 19, 2016. Funding from a successful campaign will enable Padcaster to finalize the development of the Padcaster VERSE so it can be available to consumers this summer.
