Projectmanager.com has topped the list in GetApp’s Q2 2016 ranking of top project portfolio management (PPM) software, followed closely by last quarter’s leader, Wrike, with dapulse coming in third.
With its ranking, GetApp, a cloud-based business apps marketplace, is targeting small and mid-sized business owners who are looking for project portfolio management solutions, but are unsure of where to begin their search.
With five unique data points used to score an app, including: user reviews, integrations, mobile app availability, media presence, and security, the ranking provides a good entrance point into the cloud-based PPM software market.
“Projectmanager.com was able to solidify first place this quarter thanks to two crowd-pleasing mobile apps, plenty of software integrations, and a strong showing for security. Wrike fell just behind with high scores for user reviews and security, while dapulse came in at number three in part thanks to its strong media presence,” says Suzie Blaszkiewicz, project manager and researcher at GetApp.
