Apollo Matrix has been an amazing partner in development of this first-of-its-kind mobile dashboard for cyber security.
Washington, DC (PRWEB) April 22, 2016
Two D.C.-area technology companies, software product developer Apollo Matrix, Inc. and cyber security provider NetWatcher, today announced the release of a new mobile application that provides mobile cyber security monitoring for small to medium size businesses. Apollo Matrix designed and developed the NetWatcher mobile dashboard, which is available to NetWatcher customers through the Apple App Store.
“Apollo Matrix has been an amazing partner in development of this first-of-its-kind mobile dashboard for cyber security solutions that helps small to medium size businesses,” said NetWatcher CEO Scott Suhy said. “Having a partner on this project who is an expert in mobile apps, combined with their creative and rapid development capacity, allowed us to develop an officially authorized mobile dashboard for customers that is easy to use and ensures the highest visibility at any time, in any place.”
“We did for NetWatcher what we do for all of our clients: user-centric design,” said Pete Johnson, Apollo Matrix CEO. “For the NetWatcher mobile app, that means understanding the needs of business owners when they are not at their desks. Business owners trust NetWatcher’s analysis and need to know only what they should be concerned about. Netwatcher’s proprietary security score and supporting factors were the perfect foundation for delivering a manager’s mobile experience that communicates both visually and by the numbers.”
The NetWatcher mobile app provides the business owner with a live view of overall network security. The flagship feature is the NetWatcher Score regarding attack vulnerability. Beyond the NetWatcher Score, the app offers data on security alerts graded on severity, and takes a closer look at individual threats, including IP information and possible explanations. By identifying potential threats early, the business owner or manager can take steps before a breach even occurs.
Apollo Matrix helps emerging tech firms such as NetWatcher define, design and build new software products using a proprietary process and that integrates multiple skillsets. Many software companies have software offerings deployed from the cloud to the desktop browser and come to Apollo Matrix to extend their product with native mobile apps. Since not all software products have Application Programming Interfaces (API’s) for mobile, Apollo works closely with the client’s R&D team to design and expose mobile-friendly API’s. This mobile enablement is combined with mobile strategy, user-centric design and skilled development to produce high quality user experiences that run natively on mobile devices.
Apollo Matrix serves clients of all sizes, providing mobile innovation strategy, user-experience design, and efficient development processes to drive the best value for their clients.

The NetWatcher Security-as-a-Service platform enables Managed Security Providers (MSPs) to sell cost-effective 24 x 7 security services to their customers. Many government and industry compliance requirements, and security best practices, outline the need for continuous monitoring, intrusion detection, active scanning, netflow analysis, event management and end point integration. NetWatcher enables an MSP to immediately deploy these services to their customers and take advantage of our fully-staffed Security Operations Center (SOC). This means superior protection with no capital outlay, resource commitments and additional headcount. Learn more at http://netwatcher.com
