GetApp has announced its ranking of the top 25 applicant tracking software solutions for Q2 2016. Jobvite scooped the top position in the ranking, leaping up from 13th place in the previous quarter’s ranking. Other noteable category leaders for applicant tracking in Q2 were Zoho Recruit, which held on to the second spot, and Workable, which ranked third.
The purpose of GetApp’s independent ranking is to give small businesses a qualified, at-a-glance first look at the top players in the field when it comes to choosing applicant tracking software.
GetApp’s ranking of software category leaders is based on five different data points, which are used to score cloud-based applicant tracking tools. The five considerations GetApp are user reviews, security, integrations with other software, mobile application availability and quality, and media presence. Each of these five factors carries a maximum score of 20, giving each application an overall rating out of 100.
“Jobvite was the highest mover compared to last quarter, shooting up from its score of 48 in Q1 to 69 this quarter. The app’s wide selection of software integrations and solid security score helped propel Jobvite to the top spot. Zoho Recruit, however, wasn’t far behind, tying with 69 points, missing out on first only because of Jobvite’s high security score,” says Suzie Blaszkiewicz, project manager and researcher at GetApp.
