Terry Curtis has been a sales representative of ETCO incorporated for 30 years. Terry has a vast knowledge of processing applications through his experience in stamping of strip form contacts and also wire cutting, stripping and terminal crimping. In addition, Terry has many years of experience in associated wire processing methods such as crimp quality validation and in process crimp testing, ultrasonic welding and laser processing.
This seminar covers topics on crimp design, pre-production validation, and in process testing of a terminal crimp. Terry will identify the critical elements of a crimp process and their factors in contributing to a quality wire to terminal crimp. Furthermore, he will address the function of validating and testing a crimp to current standards required by original equipment manufacturers. Finally, Terry will draw a relationship between these critical crimp elements and in process crimp testing.
