In GetApp’s Q2 2016 ranking of the top 25 workforce management solutions, When I Work Scheduling grabbed the coveted top spot. Deputy took second place in the rankings from the cloud-based business app discovery marketplace, followed by ShiftPlanning in third.
The aim of the ranking is to provide more information on leading workforce management solutions to help small and medium businesses more easily make their software selection.
There are five distinct points that are used as a basis for the ranking, each of which carries a maximum score of 20, with 100 points available overall. These data points are integrations, user reviews, mobile app rating and availability, security, and presence on social media.

Deputy secured second spot due to a strong showing in integrations with a score of 19, but 8th place FinancialForce HCM had the highest integration score with 20 points. ShiftPlanning was highly rated by users, with a score of 20 for user reviews, while Fairsail HRMS excelled in security, gaining another perfect 20,” says Suzie Blaszkiewicz, GetApp project manager for the rankings.
