The S410 features a 14" sunlight-readable, widescreen display for easy viewing in any lighting condition. The S410 notebook is equipped with Getac’s LumiBond™ 2.0 panel technology; the touch screen is clearly visible even under bright light. Users can also freely switch between touch modes including rain touch, glove touch, and pen mode. Moreover, to ensure uninterrupted power while working long back-to-back shifts, a single battery in the S410 can last up to 11 hours; adding a second battery extends battery life to 22 hours.
The S410 semi-rugged notebook is well equipped with a water-resistant keyboard with an option to upgrade to a backlit keyboard, an integrated webcam, and a Super Multi DVD drive. Connectivity features of the S410 include 802.11a/b/g/n dual-band wireless, Bluetooth®, Gobi™ 4G for multi-carrier wireless use, and a GPS receiver and antenna for mapping and navigation.
To meet the diverse needs of professional users, the S410 notebook includes four USB ports (USB 3.0x3, USB 2.0x1), RJ45, HDMI and VGA (optional) ports for connecting projection equipment, as well as an optional serial port for professional industries requiring special connectors, such as national defense or automotive maintenance.
