Student Arrested for Drug Dealing and Murder in “Margaret at Barnard/Part Two: Deliverance,” New Book 11 in the Margaret of Greenwich(R) Young Adult Series by R. L. Rhyse
Warwick, New York (PRWEB) April 27, 2016 -- "It’s not so terrible to die young if you’re been part of the pattern of life and loved.” Thus begins "Margaret at Barnard/Part Two: Deliverance," Book Eleven in the Margaret of Greenwich(R) Young Adult series by R. L. Rhyse and published by Wyston Books, Inc. These novels narrate the lives of a poor teenager and her wealthy friends in the richest town in America.
In this thriller, two students have previously died in Margaret’s new dormitory room and more troubling events follow: a resident commits suicide, another is arrested for drug dealing and murder, and an explosion rocks the building; Margaret must negotiate with a notorious crime boss; and she discovers an abused wife and sex slavery tools at the home where she babysits.
But Margaret has allies too: Vladimir, a former general in Russia’s Presidential Security Service, who considers her a daughter; the Followers of Dike, a computer hacker group at neighboring Columbia University; a disabled lawyer, Margaret’s father, whose actions exemplify courage; and her boyfriend, Randy, who is the love of her life.
In Book 11, Margaret's saga continues: “I’ve been playing with house money since I was twelve. What I most want is to be known and understood. It’s not so terrible to die young if you’re been part of the pattern of life and loved,” Kimberly, a fellow Barnard student, had told me as I visited her in jail.
"She had been damned by a nation that demanded her execution. There must be a way to save her, I hoped. But I couldn’t imagine how."
R. L. Rhyse, a former resident of Greenwich, Connecticut, is the author of the books in the Margaret of Greenwich(R) Young Adult series. These include Margaret of Greenwich, Margaret and Erika, Margaret at War, Margaret in Tokyo, Margaret and Eve, Margaret and Velda, Margaret and Emily, Margaret and Hillary, Margaret in London, and Margaret at Barnard.
