TU-Automotive launches the TU-Automotive Hall of Fame

Penton’s TU-Automotive announced today that they were launching the TU-Automotive Hall of Fame to highlight the work of individuals who have shaped the connected car industry through the years. The 2016 inductees will be officially honoured during the TU-Automotive Awards on June 7th in Novi, Michigan.

The inductees are individuals whose vision, long-term commitment and passion have shaped the fabric of the connected vehicle industry. Their work has broken down barriers and created ground-braking products and pushed the automotive sector from a traditional industry to a leading segment of the fast-moving IoT industry.TU-Automotive is proud to present the 2016 inductees of the TU-Automotive Hall of Fame:

Fred Blumer
Co-founder of Hughes Telematics, Inc. (2006-2011) and currently CEO and co-founder of Vehcon, Inc.

Jon Bucci
Vice President, Connected Vehicle Technology Division at Toyota (2000-2013) and currently Founder at Bucci Consulting, LLC

Francis Dance
ConnectedDrive Manager at BMW China and BMW North America (2003-2013) and currently President at Dance Consulting, LLC.

Chet Huber
President and CEO at OnStar (1995-2009) and currently Senior Lecturer at Harvard Business School

Chuck Link
Co-founder of Hughes Telematics (2006-2012) and currently Founder and Chief Technology Officer for M2MD Technologies, Inc.

Kevin Link
Co-founder of Hughes Telematics (2006-2012) and currently Chief Creative Officer at Covey PR and Marketing

Scott McCormick
President of the Connected Vehicle Trade Association (2004 to present)

The official induction will take place on June 7th in Novi, Michigan during the TU-Automotive Awards. This will take place the day before the annual TU-Automotive Detroit Conference and Exhibition.
